Hi Divas/Divos, I hope everyone's week is going well so far! I want to say hello to my new followers, as I always say I am glad you decided to follow me and my little blog!! :-)
I just wanted to do a quick post on a couple of new items that I have recently added to my wardrobe. I have been saying I needed a better variety of shoes and because I have lots of outfits I can wear but not enough shoes!! I still need a couple more basic must have shoes like brown, another pair of regular black pumps and another pair of nude pumps. I also want to add more colored pumps/heels as well, like green, blue, yellow, you know so that when I have a plain outfit I can add that pop of color!!
Ok enough of the rambling on to the items!
First up these new pink pumps, let me just say I love love love these!!! The are similar to the Beasst from Steve Madden here and Eboni over at The Fashionista Next Door talked about the ones she found at Target here. After seeing Eboni's shoe and the great price they were ($29.99) I rushed over to Target online to see if they had them available in the stores near me, NOPE. They did have them available to order online in my size and I was going to order them, but stopped because something told me to go to amazon to see if I could find something similar cheaper. Well I did and I was sooooo happy, even though the pink on my pumps is lighter than the Steve Maddens and the ones from Target I still love them!! They are actually a little darker than what you see in the picture............you can go here to order them and they are actually more of the color on the website, I can't wait to wear them!!!
Now these black boots here, I saw these first on urbanog here and wanted to get them but they never had them in my size. When I searched to find them elsewhere no one else did either, so I have up looking for them. One day I happen to be in Marshall's and what would you know they had and they were on sale SCORE!! BUUUUUTTTT, they didn't have my size (sad face) I was going to walk away and leave them, but something told me to try on the largest size they had which was an 8 1/2. I can wear a 8 1/2 in some shoes, but most of the time I wear a 9. Well I got the 8 1/2 and tried them on, low and behold they FIT perfectly, see it pays to listen to the Spirit even when shopping! LOL!! I was so excited and snatched them right up and like I said they were on sale for $19.99!!
Ok on to this wonderful tweed blazer. My mommy bought this from Marshall's a couple of years ago and gave it to me, I had it hanging in my closet but never wore it. Earlier last year I was cleaning out my closet and decided that I wasn't gonna wear it so I gave it back. Well I have seen soooo many people wearing blazers similar to this and thought I really needed one of those blazers. I didn't know if my mom still had it but about a week or so ago when I was at their house I checked her closet and yup she still had it, tags still on it and everything. I quickly snatched it up and took it back home. LOL My mommy looked at me shaking her head smiling. Now that I know how I can style it I can't want to rock this!!
I was trying to get a close-up so that you could see the colors in it, but you still can't really see them. (shrugs)
Lastly, I have been swooning over red wide leg slacks since I saw some of my favorite bloggers wearing them. The first time I saw them I went on a mad hunt to find some (in my price range.) I found quit a few but they cost more than I wanted to spend. I gave up trying to find a pair to buy and decided I was going ask my mommy to make me some. She said she would and all I had to do was get the material and pattern. Well I drug my feet on getting everything and almost had forgotten about them. Then one day my mommy said while I was at their house "I have something hanging on my door for you", when I walked into their bedroom I almost cried, she had FOUND MY RED SLACKS. She found them at this thrift store that some church has and guess what she paid for them......................$.80, yup they were less than a $1, how cool is that, SCORE!! I tried them on and they fit me just how I wanted them to. They legs aren't as wide as I originally wanted them , but they are still wide so I'm still a happy camper!! I LOVE MY MOMMY!! I'm now looking for the right blouse and pumps to wear with them!!
Well there you have it, the newest additions to my closet. Now I'm on the hunt to find the perfect green wide leg slacks like the ones here in my last post. If I can find everything so I can create this look in my budget I would be totally happy!!! :-) We shall see.......................
