I don't know about you but I love a good turkey burger, whether it's grilled, baked or cooked on a Foreman type grill I love them. What's even better is making them into mini burger sliders. I know you know what sliders are, mini version of regular burger. Even though I know what they are I have never, ever had them. So I decided to make some using ground turkey meat. Now when I tell you these are the BOMB, they really are, at least mine are!! LOL So I wanted to share how I made mine with you!!!
Ingredients:Ground Turkey Meat
Mini Wheat Buns
Red Onions
Green Bell Peppers
Onion Soup Mix
Garlic Powder
Nature's Own Seasoning
A1 Steak Sauce
Spinach (of your preferred lettuce)
Sliced Cheese
Spicy Brown Mustard
If you know me (from my other recipe) I don't really have a recipe per say for you to follow, I season everything to taste. Sometimes I follow a recipe when I'm first trying something, after that the recipe is pretty much tossed out the window, LOL!!
Turkey Meat
Mini Wheat Bun Sliders
Red onion (picked red onions because of their taste) and green bellpepper
Foreman grill (yeah this has been used quit a bit)
Spray the grill with non-stick cooking spray before putting your burgers on. Remember to flip while they are cooking. Don't mash/press out all the juices in your burgers or they will end up dry.
I eat spinach instead lettuce with and on everything, but you can of course use whatever lettuce you like.
I put spicy brown mustard on mine, I love the spicy taste,
Use your favorite kind of sliced cheese (if you eat cheese), I usually eat either fat free or 2% cheese.
Saute your onions and peppers if you wish until they are soft. I sauteed mine in a little steak sauce (sorry for the bad picture)
Your mini burgers all done. On my grill it takes about 8min if that long to cook the burgers (well) and that is with 4 on at a time. So depending on your grill or however you cook or like them, it may take longer or shorter.
Make your burgers up with all the fixings and enjoy!! Next time I'm going to grill these on a regular grill and add some turkey bacon, that should be really good!!
Well til next time, eat well and enjoy!!
TTYL!!!

I do the same thing. I only use the recipe once...then it's gone!
ReplyDeleteEven with my baking I don't always follow the recipe, I have learned to tweak them to my liking and they come better than the original!! :-)

You're welcome!! Glad to help start your morning off right!! LOL!! :-D
DeleteI usually substitute ground turkey for beef in most recipes - except hamburgers! Can you believe it? I'm gonna give this one a try though. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteIt's ground turkey for me all the time. Only time I don't eat it is when someone cooks something and then I either eat it or don't. LOL Burgers, pasta, meatballs, meatloaf everything is turkey meat!! I do want to try ground chicken though, next time I will. I eat chicken sausage so if that's good then I am sure ground chicken is. :-)
Looks yummy, thanks for sharing the recipe. At least now I can enjoy these since I just got my braces off :)
