Me and My Camera/Tripod: Outfit of The Day

So some may or may not know that I finally got my tripod for my camera about 2 weeks ago.  I searched and debated about one for a while.  Juanette over at Fashion nette-work told me about one at Target that was a really good price.  I went, saw it and bought it, thank you Juanette.  So now I can take more outfit pictures.....next will be a better camera.

I really like outdoor pictures, the lighting is so much better but there are time I don't have time to do a mini photo shoot outside because I have to get home, so I take them at home.  Even though it's still light outside when I get home the lighting coming into the house isn't all that great. Maybe I just need figure out this camera more because I am sure there is a way to fix the lighting

I finally broke out the sandals, I was trying to wait as long as I could before wearing any, but it has been VERY WARM here in Ga so my feet were no longer having!! LOL  I don't know I have this thing where I don't break out the sandals until it's well into Spring, don't ask me why it's just something I usually do.

I've been wearing flats more often than heels because my back has been hurting alot lately.  I have chronic lower back pain, have since I had my son, so the back problems are nothing new, but lately it has been hurting more often than it usually does.  I will be going to my doctor to get it checked out, she might have be go back to physical therapy, but we will see.

Maxi Dress: Target,  Grey Cardigan: from my mom,  Sandals: Unica,   Rings: Burlington Coat Factory   Charm Bracelets: Tiffany & Co, Pandora (Jared's)  Beaded Bracelet: New Dimension (new line coming soon)

I am getting better at my posing and taking pictures can't you tell LOL!!  I still have some work to do, it just takes some doing running to the camera setting the timer and getting in place before the camera takes the shot.  I'll figure it out one day......I am also really loving my curly natural hair, even though some days it doesn't look like it's growing and I get frustrated with it.  But I'm going to keep growing and keep it natural because I want my long hair back, plus I no longer want all the chemicals in my hair!! :-)

Ok it's time for me to turn in, I have to get up and go to work in the AM!!!  Everyone have a wonderful night!!

TTYL!!!

    1. Thank you Lynn!! The sandal thing has been a hang up of mine for years, not sure where that started though......but I know this year I couldn't wait.

With this camera and tripod, I am still trying to get the focus and lighting right, the pictures still come out small and darker then they should. O_o

  8. I love this outfit! You look so relaxed and cute and I love the hair. I plan to get a new camera for my birthday this month and I gotta be sure to get the tripod...it's an excellent alternative to having a real life hands on photographer (which i don't have) for us bloggers! :-)

  9. Getting a tripod really is great, but then you have to master the set and run, lol. I wear heels a lot, so running to pose after setting the timer is always comical to me. Yay for braking out cute sandals and maxi dresses...Spring is here!! Lol

    1. Rocquelle that is a let down for me too. When I am taking pictures most of the time I am in heels, so trying get the next shot setup and get in place (and make it look natural) can be hard. LOL!! But looking at your pictures I would never guess you used a tripod, they look great!!
