Ready To Wear: New Additions To My Wardrobe

Happy Monday Everyone!!!  Is everyone all partied out from yesterday's Super Bowl party?!?!?   I had a small gathering at my house and it was alot of fun, but I am tired and in the bed early, but it was worth is because I am a HUGE football fan!!

I am not going to make this post long, I just wanted to share with everyone some new purchases I recently made in the last 2 months.  It felt like it had been a LONG time since I went shopping for myself, but I think I am making up for it especially with the shoes, LOL!!

ANYWHO on to the purchases!!!

The first 2 purchases are from Forever 21 Plus:

 High-Low Sheer Blouse w/open back, I love this color.  The fill and fit of this blouse is great, still trying to decide on how I want to style this!!  I need more skinny jeans or leggings.......

 I really liked this grey top because of the rhinstones on the shoulder, a really cute added touch!!  The fabric on this shirt is really nice and light weight.  I'm trying to figure out how to style it for the Winter without having to cover up the details,  I can wear a shirt under it, but we will see.   I just may save it for when it get's warmer.

I love pleated skirts/dresses and when my sister called me to tell me she found this cut little skirt at JcPenny I had to have it.  It was on clearance for $8.00, how cool was that!!  You can't really see the true color (looks more red here), it's a really pretty wine color and it hits right at my calf, I love it!!

 

These lime green beauties are from Charlotte Russe, I really liked them when I first saw them this past Summer when they came out, but never got them.  Then when they went on sale over the Christmas Holiday I snatched them right up ($9.99), I can't wait to wear these. 

I have been looking for grey heels for a while but I could never find any that I liked.  Then I was on Forever 21 browsing and decided to take a peek at what they had on sale and saw these.  I was so happy I had finally found my grey heels, I already have a couple of outfits in mind for these!!!

Recently I had to throw/give away some of my boots and was left with 6 pair.  Five black pairs; 1 knee high high heel pair, 2 high heel booties (1 suede 1 leather) 1 pair that comes mid-calf that aren't really casual or dressy, then 1 casual wedge mid-calf boot (tan rubber type heel) and 1 tan; cowboy style mid-calf boot.   I no longer had any dressy/casual brown or tan boots/booties, so I need some.  I saw these when I found the grey heels at F2, they were on sale too so I got them.   They are really cute on and pretty comfortable. I still want a nice mid-calf or another knee length high heel tan pair, but these will do for now.

Lastly, I don't have any flat length casual boots in any color.  I really want some riding boots, but because I have big calves it's really hard to find wide calf boots.  I was on Shoe Dazzle on day just browsing and I ran across these and thought they were cute.  I was weary of course of them getting past my calves but after reading the review about them fitting ladies with large calves I decided to get them.  They were on sale at a really good price ($19.95 I believe) and are really comfortable ( I walked about 4 blocks to work) only problem is they're still a little snug around my calves, but they still come out to my knee, so I am cool with them.


Well that is all my new purchases.  Hopefully I will get to take outfit pictures of me wearing all of these things at some point........I not only still have to get a tripod but also a new camera now (yeah my other isn't working), one day soon!!  Ok that is all for now, everyone have a great one!!
